Office Hours
Government departments open from 7:30 am to 2:30 pm with a Friday/Satarday weekend. Private offices may work on a split shift from 8:00 am to 8:00 pm with a break from 1:30 pm to 4:30 pm, or work on a straight shift from 08:30 am to 5:30 pm.

Dubai Internet City (DIC)
Dubai Internet City provides a Knowledge Economy Ecosystem that is designed to support the business development of Information and Communications Technology (ICT) companies. Built inside a free trade zone, DIC has extensive IT infrastructure and has the largest commercial Internet Protocol Telephony system in the world. Dubai Media City (DMC)

Dubai World Trade Centre is one of Dubai’s premier landmark properties and

Dubai Airport Free Zone Authority (DAFZA)
Dubai Airport Free Zone is situated within the confines of the airport, so the activities are limited to
high value, low volume products, which require rapid access to markets. Therefore, DAFZA is an ideal
location for high tech/IT products, luxury items, jewelry, light industry and activities related to the
aviation industry.
Jebel Ali Free Zone Authority (JAFZA)
The Jebel Ali Free Zone is an outstanding example of Dubai’s entrepreneurial spirit. Taxation is non-existent. Restrictions are minimal. There is no obligation to take on a local partner. Staff may be recruited from anywhere. Excellent port facilities, warehouses, office space, and factories are built and ready for lease. The strategic location of Dubai allows easy access to the 1.5 billion consumers in the countries surrounding the Arabian Gulf and Red Sea. Created by a Dubai Government decree on 9 February 1985, JAFZA is now host to over 1,125 companies from 72 countries. Many of these are leaders in their industries.
