Wild Wadi Water Park
The emirate’s first fully-themed water park features 24 interconnected rides so guests
can access all rides and slides without leaving the water. Some of the main features
include the tallest water slides in the world.
Aquaventure
Explore a world of breathtaking water thrills at Aquaventure. Slide down the immense Ziggurat and
through a shark-infested lagoon, take a river ride of over two kilometers, ride the water rapids
and white water chargers. For a gentler experience, younger visitors can plunge into Splashers, a
water playground for kids. It all adds up to a unique water adventure, with something new discovered
at every turn.
SKI DUBAI
Whilst in Dubai if the temperature outside is too hot for you and you fancy doing something you only
thought possible in a snow resort visit Ski Dubai based in the Emirates Shopping Mall; here you will
find a truly jaw dropping sight. People stand at the glass windows and watch for hours as skiers fly by,
and children build snowmen, even if you do not want to go skiing this is a must see attraction,
it has fully operational ski lifts along with 5 different runs, the longest being over 400m.
The highest point for experienced skiers is more than 60m! This is the world’s first indoor black run.
Dubai Zoo
Covering a total area of 1.75 hectares, the Dubai Zoo is located in Jumeirah. As the greenest spot in
suburban Dubai, the zoo is home to varied species of mammals, birds and reptiles. It even protects
and conserves several endangered species.
The Dubai Fountain
Set on the 30-acre Burj Dubai Lake, the fountain shoots water jets as high as150 meters. The fountain
is 275 meters long and has five circles of varying sizes and two central arcs, Over 6,600 WET
Superlights – the most advanced incandescent large fountain lights available today – and 25 color
projectors create a visual spectrum of over 1,000 abstract attractions. The beam of light shining upward
from the fountain can be seen from over 20 miles away, and will be visible from space making it the
brightest spot in the Middle East.
Dubai Aquarium
A key centerpiece is Dubai Aquarium, one of the of the largest tanks in the world at 51m x 20m x 11m and
featuring the world’s largest viewing panel at 32.8m wide and 8.3m high. Over time, Dubai Aquarium
will have more than 33,000 living animals, representing more than 85 species including over 400
sharks and rays combined, Dubai Aquarium's 270-degree acrylic walkthrough tunnel makes for incredible
close-encounter experiences with some of the most fascinating underwater animals on the planet.
A special 'lunar-cyclic' lighting system will change the ambience of the tank depending on the time
of day.
Underwater Zoo
Walk along the Rainforest, Rocky Shore and Living Ocean environments at the Underwater Zoo and you’ll
find yourself face to face with dangerous Piranha, Giant Catfish, playful Otters, a Humbolt Penguin
colony, Harbour Seals and more, Whether viewing the Rainforest from a suspension bridge high above the
river and tree canopy, or reaching out and touching some of the more hardy rock pool inhabitants, this is
an aquatic experience you will never forget.
